Asante the Alpha, born David Asante-Danso is a Ghanaian Composer, Songwriter, Rapper, Recording Artist who lives in the United States. He performs all kinds of genres like Afrobeats, Hiplife and Hiphop.
Asante the Alpha was born in the United Kingdom but was raised in Ghana, Kumasi in the Ashanti region, where he had all his basic and high school education.
He then travelled abroad after high school to pursue his education at The City University of New York- Lehman College where he is currently studying Computer Science.
A few years after moving to the United States he signed up for the US Army where he served for 6 years from 2010 to 2016. Asante the Alpha is the eldest of 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
